LANSON CHIEN MEMORIAL YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP

​A Youth Scholarship Award Program has been organized in memory of Lanson Chien who served as Association Manager of the New Orleans USBC Bowling Association until his death in December 2015.  Lanson was a friend to so many people, not just in our community, but throughout the nation as a result of his participation in USBC's National Tournaments as well as other tournaments throughout the area.  Lanson was an avid,  excellent bowler and, most of all , exemplified "Good Sportmanship".  ​Through this program, a scholarship will be presented annually to the youth bowler who best represents the values that Lanson Chien believed in ...most of all, Sportsmanship!
